The End

As I sit here in my new house, on my 25 year old handed down couch and listen to the rain beat against the windows I can not help but feel thrilled at the thought that I have just finished my last paper for this year.  A sense of accomplishment washes over me as I look around the room at the new experience I am about to venture upon.  I look around at my own house, with my own furniture, and even my own bills to pay and cannot help but feel giddy.

I have a job to pay for my bills, although I have an interview on Monday for a better one.  I have furniture to sit on and sleep on, although not yet to eat upon.  I have a roof over my head, some food in my cabinets, and I am out on my own.  Instead of feeling scared like I did at the beginning of this school year when I was venturing into unknown territories I am thrilled.  My freshman year is almost to a close, don’t get me wrong I am not counting my chickens before they hatch I still have three finals to deal with, but the end is so close and I can’t wait to be done.

I have had a really awesome second semester and I know I will be very sad to see some people leaving.  I think I might even miss writing the web logs.  I must say though, all in all the year was a good one and so many people will be missed and so many classes will not.  I have a feeling that next year will be coming upon me way to fast so I am going to try and enjoy the summer.  I hope you have a nice summer as well Mr. Riley and I fully intend on writing five more weblogs over the summer. You can never have enough extra credit.
