My Teaching Philosophy

Teachers mold the future of society.
They help to cultivate the minds of the future.
In doing so they must keep in mind
that they are seen as role models by their students.


Teachers must maintain a sense of professionalism
while being able to reach out to their students.
They should try and relate to their students
and yet should understand that they are not
their best friends, they are to be leaders.
Students should be inspired by their teachers. 
Teachers should be inspired by their students.
Students should be able to trust their teachers
and should not feel threatend or scared
of their teachers but should feel comfortable with them.
Teachers should be capable of guiding
their students into the future by helping them learn
the skills and morals that they will use for the rest of their lives.

Teachers should be many things to their students

Guide
Moral leader
Confidante
Role model
Supporter
Ally
Sponser
Instructor
Educator
I hope to one day be these things to my students
because it is these qualities and many others that create wonderful teachers
 like so many that I have had the pleasure of encountering in my life.
